Miyazaki Wagyu is purebred, black Wagyu cattle that is born, raised and fed in the Miyazaki Prefecture in Japan.
The Miyazaki Prefecture, on the southern tip of Japan, is famous for its mild climate and pure spring waters. The farms are located along the coast of the Hyuga-nada Sea, known for the warm Kuroshio Current- which creates a micro-climate of warm, stable weather in the Miyazaki Prefecture perfect for farming wagyu cattle, stress-free.
Once the Miyazaki Wagyu is processed the meat and marbling is independently assessed for meat yield and quality as well as the fineness and amount of marbling. Miyazaki Wagyu is A5 which is the highest quality grade in Japan. It marbles at a score of 10 & 11, the absolute highest in the world. A 10 digit individual identification number trace our Wagyu back through its history- who are where it was slaughtered, how long it was fed for, if it was moved from farm to farm, it’s parentage and much more.
